Dec 2025
Again we had the most amazing kids at camp. when they see us coming with the bakkie, they “Michelli Michelli” waving their arms in joy. My heart cries out to them with love. Nonhlanhla came from PIKITUP and wow did they have fun. “pick it up don’t drop” was heard all down the street. then we had to make some Christmas decorations out of paper, cutting beautiful patterns and hanging them from the rafters. Thursday brought SGT Elizabeth from Mondeor. She taught them about 112 and that they have to say they are from Mondeor station. Then on the 12 of December the EL Shaddai Church came and treated us to a very special day. the kids sat at tables all decorated with their cones and houses they painted and decorated with glittery stuff. they sang for us and kept the kids busy for 3 hours. they also gave us a wonderful lunch of Rice, Stamp, Macaroni salad, Butternut, bean salad, cucumber salad and curried chicken. the kids loved this. then to top it of they all got a cooldrink donated by “Eye of Africa” and Water donated by “BENE“. gifts were donated by AT Nursery and “Linen Language” and Jerseys by “Shantara“. we could not have had a day and a week like we had if it had not been for generous donations and to every one that gave to “Vintage Treasures”, we can only say THANK YOU again and again.

Interested in Volunteering
Great! We just happen to need as many volunteers as we can get.
No experience? No Problem!
All volunteers will be trained by Scripture union in giving classes, trained by the Fire Department in First Aid and will be receiving a First Aid responder certificate.

Interested in Donating
It warms our hearts to see a child’s face after seeing what they can accomplish. We are in constant need of stationery supplies for arts and crafts activities. However, any donation is appreciated and if you would like to contribute please contact Michelle. A small difference can go a long way and we thank everyone who helps and supports us.
